Hi! 👋 I'm Eva Bloom! I'm a non-binary lesbian and late bloomer coach!

I’m a late bloomer queer myself! Comphet aka compulsory heterosexuality had me in the closet for a loooong time, founding my High School’s GSA and having a FFF threesome while thinking I was still straight???

The time and space for reflection over the pandemic (plus lesbian Tik Tok, of course!) finally helped me come out as a lesbian and non-binary in 2021.

From there, I’ve been inspired to channel my sex educator training (Masters of Science on the social psychology of sexuality) into helping late blooming queer, trans, non-binary, and questioning people build confidence, queer joy, and have amazing sex!

I know queer imposter syndrome first hand, and how overwhelming it can be to take the leap to explore your queerness. It’s incredibly brave to step outside what you were taught your whole life and what is the “norm” when it comes to sex and relationships.

I’ve worked with 200+ late bloomers, and I know that power of creating a life that honours ALL parts of you is life-changing.

  • I use a collaborative & needs based approach to this work. You bring in your goals, challenges, and what frameworks of support work best for you - and we let that lead our work together.

Some folks may want hands on support like feedback on/co-creating a first time queer dating app profile, which we can absolutely do! Some folks may want to focus on mapping pathways forward and tailored resources. That is great to know! The sessions will be shared by what you need.

  • Each 45 minute session will take place on Zoom video. The session will not be recorded, unless specifically asked for (ie to be able to return to the resources and conversation later). You will also receive a list of tailored resources after the call.

  • I offer a 3 pack of 1:1 support sessions. This allows us the space to explore where you’re at, provide recommendations & put them into action, and adjust and tailored based on your experiences.

Our 3 sessions are booked within 60 days. This allows you to put some of our conversations into practice, then and come back to get support and additional resources.

A multi-session approach allows for a more holistic examination of your concerns, leading to more profound insights and transformative breakthroughs.

If you resonate with my approach, we can also discuss working together on a weekly basis, booked in a 3 month package.

  • My work is informed by queer liberation, pleasure activism & sex-positivity, peer support, and social psychology frameworks. I work heavily with the theory of compulsory heterosexuality in the context of late bloomer healing & healing.

This is what these terms mean to me:

    • Queer Liberation - Queerness as a political identity, an individual’s queerness exists within a larger movement towards freedom from oppressive structures (ie white supremacy, capitalism, colonization) and in solidarity with the larger 2SLGBTQIA+ community and our diverse experiences.

    • Pleasure Activism & Sex Positivity - The notion that pleasure & joy for marginalized communities (and for all) is a radical and essential response to the fight against oppression. Pleasure is the reason, queer joy is a beautiful and glorious thing. Sex positivity in that sexuality and sexual pleasure is not dirty or shameful, and everyone has a right to navigate sex and sexuality in a way that feels aligned and pleasurable for them - including not having sex as a part of their life (ie asexual individuals).

    • Peer Support - Supporting other through the sharing of lived experience, especially with regards to late bloomer journey.

    • Social Psychology - The study of human emotions, behaviours, and thoughts, individually and in the context of relationships and wider culture.

    • Compulsory Heterosexuality (aka Comphet): A framework describing how cisness & straightness is assumed and reinforced on a cultural level, especially it’s unique impacts on queer women & trans and non-binary people.

  • I have learned from a plethora of scholars, artists, visionaries that inform my work. Some of these include - Dr. Robin Milhausen, Dr. Karen Blair, Dr. Rhea Ashley Hoskin, Dr. Ruth Neustifter, Dr. Meg-John Barker, Janelle Monae, adrienne maree brown, Dawn Serra, Kate Sloan & Billy Lore, Gabrielle Alexa Noel, Mikki Kendall, Euphemia Russell, Marlee Liss, Anna Balgatas.

  • The 3 pack of sessions is $250 USD. For Canadians, that’s around $340 CAD. This rate is inclusive of tax. Once you purchase your sessions, use the link in the confirmation email to book your first call.

  • Sessions are available to book Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9am-4pm EST.
